Our in-house photographer Jerzy, has contributed with pictures to "In Strangers Arms: The Magic of the Tango" by Beatriz Dujovne. Beatriz is from the USA but lives in Buenos Aires since many years.
A whole little pile of gentlemen from north to south, and an undisputed DJ-queen from Stockholm forming the culmination of the tango-week. No less than five DJ:s!

Carlos Quilichi, bandoneon
Carlos is an argentinian who frequently tours in Europe. He is also the leader of the Los Tauras group from Rosario, Argentina.
Here he is on his own, and a small orchestra in himself; Carlos made several highly acclaimed apearances at Tango Retiro 2011 both for dancing and enjoyment!

As they describe themselves: "Trío del Novecientos is three Argentinia musicians living in Madrid. With a solid background in classical music, they are also reknown enterpeters of tango.
Flute guitarr and chello give life to this restauration and research project which recreates the Buenos Aires lsound landskape from the eary nineteenhundreds. Tango, milonga and vals, is the trio's dance reperoire which they perform in a playful and masterly manner"
